Warwick Town Council

'Resilience' is the key theme for the new Mayor of Warwick as her mayoral year gets underway.

Warwick's artisan market, launched earlier this year, has proved such a hit that it will continue until at least the autumn, taking place every two weeks.

Warwick District Council

Works to demolish the district council's former headquarters and turn the land into homes are well underway, with part of the building now completely knocked down. 

Solar panels are currently being installed at the building home to Kenilworth Town Council and Sir Jeremy Wright's office.

£250,000 is set to be put forward in a bid to help Leamington Spa become the "Wimbledon of bowls".

Residents, visitors, and businesses are invited to have their say on car parking in Warwick district.

Warwick District Council has equipped 20 refuse and recycling vehicles with solar mats, which are expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 1.3 tonnes per vehicle annually.

Warwickshire County Council

Warwickshire County Council is calling on residents to have their say in the 2025 National Highways and Transport (NHT) Public Satisfaction Survey, which began rolling out from 6 June 2025.

Government feedback on options for merging Warwickshire's six biggest councils is set to arrive a month late due to the county's position in the alphabet.

Locals have until the end of June to have their say on a new 20mph speed limit for a Warwick housing estate.

And the county council has signed off on plans to extend the 20mph speed limit area across a number of residential streets on the other side of Warwick.

The Reform UK councillor in charge of Warwickshire County Council's finances hinted that a DOGE-style review could be coming to Shire Hall.

Following the emergence of counterfeit QR codes in Leamington, similar fraudulent activities have now surfaced in Warwick.

Road improvement works have begun along Myton Road as part of a wider project aimed at enhancing traffic flow and pedestrian safety on the A452 Europa Way corridor.

Plans for a new shared cycleway and footpath along a busy Kenilworth road have been revealed by Warwickshire County Council.

The member for Stockingford takes political responsibility for transport and planning and completes the nine-strong cabinet of Reform UK councillors that will take charge of major services areas, seven of whom represent wards in Nuneaton and Bedworth. 

"We're not much further forward" was the message from the Liberal Democrats after the new Warwickshire County Council cabinet was announced.

The new leader of Warwickshire County Council has promised a review of net zero targets, declaring them a "wasted task and a waste of money".
