Road improvement works have begun along Myton Road as part of a wider project aimed at enhancing traffic flow and pedestrian safety on the A452 Europa Way corridor.

The latest phase of the project involves the installation of a new toucan crossing on Myton Road.

It is integrated into the ongoing improvements at the Queensway and Ford Foundry roundabouts, connecting the Myton Road and Old Warwick Road.

Warwickshire County Council took to Facebook to thank residents, motorists, and local businesses for their continued patience: "Our contractors would like to thank motorists, local residents and businesses for their patience while the extensive works to improve the A452 Europa Way are underway."

To facilitate the works, one lane of Myton Road will be closed between 9am and 3.30pm on weekdays.

Traffic management measures are in place and will be continually monitored to ensure minimal disruption.

In addition, night-time road closures are scheduled to begin in early July, running from 8pm to 6am for approximately three weeks.

Clearly marked diversion routes will be provided during these closures.

The Myton Road phase of the project is expected to be completed in July.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys and allow extra time while travelling through the area.
