Road closure details for the Commonwealth Games in Warwick have been published ahead of the town hosting the cycling road race this summer.
The route will start and finish at a ticketed venue at St Nicholas Park in Warwick on Sunday August 7.
The 16km loop through the centre of Warwick will be completed seven times by the women in the morning and then 10 times by the men in the afternoon.
During the road closure period, residents and businesses will not have access to the closed roads until the closures have been removed.
Around 15,000 properties near to games venues and the road races route will receive a postcard this week encouraging people to go online and attend a public drop-in event in the area.
Closures, which include the A46 Northbound and Southbound off slip roads onto Birmingham Road, will impact Myton Road the most as it will be closed between Banbury Road (A425) and Myton Gardens from 10am Wednesday 3 August to 8pm Monday 8 August.
Most closures will be in place only on the day of the race.
TfWM executive director Anne Shaw said: "Our plans are designed to make it as easy as possible for spectators to leave the car at home and use public transport to get to events.
"This, along with the traffic management and parking plans announced ensure that residents and businesses near to venues navigate around the local area as well as help manage congestion on the wider network for regular commuters, deliveries and emergency services going about their daily business.
"It will inevitably be busy at times, but these plans have been carefully designed to keep the impact to a minimum. Ensuring our region can keep moving when a million spectators arrive this summer will be key to a successful Commonwealth Games."
