Here are our top picks for September:

1. Dragon Boat Race

The wait is over for the return of Warwick's Dragon Boat Race.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Warwick Avon, the event will return at St Nicholas Park in Warwick from 10am on Saturday 19 September.

Organisers shared: "Come and enjoy the thrills and hopefully not too many spills, of the Warwick Dragon Boat race, on Sunday 19 September, 2026."

This is a charity event which raises funds for local charities including the Myton Hospice.

2. Autumn Food & Drink Festival

Around 40 food and drink traders are set to gather in Warwick this month as the town sees the return of the popular Autumn Food Festival.

This year's festival will take place on Sunday 27 September 2026 from 11am to 4pm at Market Place.

Organisers, CJ's Events Warwickshire, shared: "Get ready for a delicious day out in the heart of Warwick! Join us in Warwick Town Centre and discover up to 40 fantastic food and drink traders serving everything from mouth-watering street food and artisan produce to tempting sweet treats and refreshing drinks.

"There will also be plenty of family fun, including a spectacular scarecrow stilt walker and children's rides!"

3. Walk for Myton

The Walk for Myton, which raises funds for Myton Hospice, is also set to take place on Sunday 20 September 2026, starting and ending at Warwick Myton Hospice.

Participants will either do a casual three-mile stroll, a more challenging six-mile walk or a 13.1-mile hike.

So far a total of £43,808 has been raised towards the goal of £75,000.
