1. Warwick Comedy Club - Edinburgh Fringe preview

Get ready for something a little different at The Bridge House Theatre!

Alongside the theatre's much-loved comedy nights, it is bringing a special one-off Friday evening show.

The event will take place on Friday 31 July at 8.00pm.

Organisers shared: "This is your chance to catch two brilliant comedians as they fine-tune their latest shows ahead of the Edinburgh Festival—expect fresh ideas, unexpected moments, and plenty of laughs as they test out work in progress.

"It's comedy in its rawest, most exciting form, and you'll be part of the journey.

"Don't miss this unique night of stand-up where anything can happen!"

2. 900th anniversary of Chapel of St James.

The Lord Leycester is hosting a special summer evening celebrating the 900th anniversary of the completion of the Chapel of St James.

Guests can enjoy a wine reception with canapés in the surroundings of the chapel and gardens, accompanied by live music from the Mellow Sounds Recorder Trio.

Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to explore a special exhibition celebrating 900 years of the Chapel of St James, alongside a series of short historical performances by the Slaughterhouse Players, bringing the chapel's rich history to life.

The event will take place from 6pm to 8.30pm on 31 July 2026.

Organisers shared: "This relaxed fundraising evening offers a unique opportunity to celebrate one of Warwick's most significant historic buildings while helping to support the ongoing preservation of the Chapel of St James and the charitable work of the Lord Leycester."

3. Art in the Park

Nearby in Leamington, Art in the Park returns this weekend (1-2 August).

The free to attend festival will span across 1 and 2 August from 10am to 6pm at Jephson and Mill Gardens.

This year's theme is "Pathways" inviting attendees to reflect on "the winding course of fate and circumstance that has brought you here today."

Festival Director Kate Livingston shared: "In 2026 we are bringing you another packed slate, with fantastic new exhibitors alongside returning festival staples. Head to Pangaea Sculptors' Centre for their mobile sculpting studio or take the family to the Big Gobs tent to create your own puppet! We have face painting, henna tattoos, street art from Brink, DJ workshops with New Future Creatives, and the Sunday Parade returns with a HUGE surprise that shouldn't be missed!
