A Warwick town centre takeaway was giving away free pizzas on Wednesday night (February 18) to celebrate its reopening under new management.

Caprinos on Smith Street has been shut for the past few weeks while it underwent a refurbishment.

The 'grand opening' was then held this week with the eatery giving away free food between 5pm and 6pm, with customers queuing out of the door to make sure they did not miss out.

Before the renovations, the business took to social media to say: "Something delicious is baking.

"Big news, Warwick! Your favourite pizza spot is getting a major glow-up.

"We are officially under renovation and under new management.

"We're working hard to level up the flavour, the service and the vibes to give you the best pizza experience in town."
