Warwick set for festive family fun this Small Business Saturday
By Nadia Sayed 3rd Sep 2026
Warwick is set to get into the festive spirit this December with a special Christmas Fun Day.
The Court House and Market Square will host the event on Saturday 5 December 2026 from 10am to 4pm.
The event will coincide with Small Business Saturday, providing an opportunity for residents and visitors to come into Warwick, enjoy a day of Christmas entertainment and support the town's independent businesses and wider town centre economy.
Organised as a joint fundraiser for Warwick's Christmas Lights and Warwickshire Air Ambulance, the Christmas Fun Day will offer festive activities across both locations, giving visitors plenty of reasons to spend the day in Warwick.
Festive fun at The Court House
At The Court House on Jury Street, visitors can enjoy a range of Christmas activities, including Santa's Grotto, Christmas stalls, fundraising activities, a tombola, Christmas crafts and refreshments.
It will provide a warm and festive hub for families to visit throughout the day, with opportunities to take part in activities while helping to raise funds for Warwick's Christmas Lights and Warwickshire Air Ambulance.
Christmas activities in Market Square
Over in Market Square, visitors will have the opportunity to get up close to the work of Warwickshire Air Ambulance, with photo opportunities with an Elf alongside the Air Ambulance Critical Care Car.
There will also be a tombola and the chance to meet the donkeys, adding some extra festive fun for families visiting the town.
Horse-drawn carriage rides
Adding to the Christmas atmosphere, horse-drawn carriage rides will run between The Court House and Market Square, allowing visitors to travel between the two locations while enjoying a traditional festive experience.
Rides will be available for a suggested donation of £3, with donations contributing to the event's fundraising.
Support Warwick this Small Business Saturday
With the event taking place on Small Business Saturday, organisers are encouraging people to make a full day of their visit to Warwick.
The Christmas Fun Day provides a great opportunity to enjoy the festive activities, but visitors are also being encouraged to explore Warwick's town centre, shop locally and support the independent shops, cafés, restaurants and other businesses that make the town unique.
Small Business Saturday is an important opportunity to highlight the contribution that independent businesses make to Warwick's town centre economy, and the Christmas Fun Day aims to bring additional visitors into the town at the start of the busy Christmas shopping period.
Visitors can also benefit from free parking in all Warwick District Council car parks in Warwick, making it easier to come into town and spend the day.

The event is sponsored by Flying Pig Catering.
Whether it's meeting Santa, browsing Christmas stalls, taking part in crafts and fundraising activities, meeting the donkeys or getting a festive photo with the Air Ambulance Critical Care Car, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The organisers are hoping the event will not only raise valuable funds for Warwick's Christmas Lights and Warwickshire Air Ambulance, but also encourage people to shop local, support Warwick's businesses and enjoy everything the town has to offer this Christmas.
