Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Pub's Paintjob
A pub landlord is being threatened with legal action by his "bully" council for having a giant bull painted on the side of his 400-year-old inn.
Martin Peel paid a local artist £1,200 to have the 8ft mural emblazoned on the side of The Bull's Head.
The artwork was finished in April and Mr Peel says it was a big hit with visitors to the pub in the pretty village of Wootton Wawen.
Solar Panel Plans
Plans to install 240 solar panels on the roof of a Warwick industrial building have been put forward to the council.
Hansgrohe Ltd has applied for prior approval to cover the roof of its Edgehill Drive base with PV panels.
The application submitted to Warwick District Council says the 126kWp system will generate 104,000kWh per year.
'Little Design Merit'
A detached home of "little design merit" could be demolished to make way for a new, modern home in Barford, if plans are signed off by the district council.
J & C Developments (Midlands) Limited has applied for planning permission to demolish a 60-year-old home on Dugard Place, to replace it with another four-bed home.
The application submitted to Warwick District Council says the home currently sits on a "larger than average sized plot" and adds that a lot of the neighbouring homes have also recently been modernised.
