Locals are running out of time to have their say on plans to host a weekend-long event at Warwick's St Nicholas Park.
New Vision Events Limited has applied for a premises licence for 'events area one' at the town centre park for an event at some point between May and September.
If approved, the licence would allow alcohol to be served at St Nick's from 12noon to 10.30pm on both the Friday and Saturday.
Residents have until 22 March to comment on the application.
It would also allow for plays, films, recorded music and live music to be played.
Live music will be from bands, or live artists," the application to Warwick District Council said.
"Playing instruments or other musical items including sound decks. Music will be amplified."
Recorded music will come from sound decks and DJ stands.
The application does not specify which weekend the festival would be, but says: "As soon as agreement has been made with the local park's authority for the date of the event, all responsible authorities as defined within the Licensing Act 2003 will be notified of the event dates and timings.
"Notification will also include a brief synopsis of the planned event."
On its website, New Vision describes itself as a "forward thinking" events company which specialises in "large scale music festivals, concerts & shows".
It currently has no events listed on its website for the coming year.
In 2023 permission was granted for a two-day live music event at St Nicholas Park.
There was one objection, said to be on behalf of a group of residents from nearby Pickard Street, relating to noise, crowds, parking and the potential for anti-social behaviour and crime.
