Three-week emergency closure for busy road near Warwick to fix 'water pollution'

A three-week closure has begun for a busy road near Warwick to fix "water pollution".

Warwickshire County Council has confirmed Five Ways Road in Shrewley is shut, and closed on Saturday 22 February.

The route is closed for "emergency works to rectify water pollution issue".

The local authority said the route is expected to reopen on Thursday 13 March.

A diversion is currently in place.
