Plans to turn an industrial building next to the railway line in Warwick into ten new homes have been put forward to Warwick District Council.

Allworks Properties Ltd has applied for planning permission for the site on the Cape Road Industrial Estate which was once covered in sidings for the nearby railway.

The company now wants to change the office block into eight, one-bedroom apartments and two, two bedroom apartments.

The flats would be split over two floors.

Plans show the majority of the works would be inside the building.

A noise impact assessment submitted with the application states the building can still be used for residential purposes, despite being so close to the railway and the neighbouring car works business.
