Locals are being invited to a creative fan making workshop at Market Hall Museum in Warwick this June.
The event will take place on Sunday 7 June from 2 pm to 4 pm, led by local illustrator Jessica Hartshorn (Jessi Illustrates).
Under Jessi's expert guidance, attendees will learn a range of watercolour techniques as they create two painted paper fans of their own.
Organisers said: "Once practical accessories and symbols of style and status, decorative fans have a long and elegant history—and now you can reimagine them with a modern, artistic twist. Leave with unique hand-painted pieces and a keepsake that's as practical as it is beautiful for the summer months."
The event forms part of an exciting programme of talks, tours and workshops celebrating the new exhibition: Warwick Castle Unboxed: New stories from an old castle which can be seen at Market Hall Museum, Warwick, during the Museum's opening hours.
All materials are included in the workshop price of £25 plus a booking fee.
Tea and coffee are also included, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Book online here.
