A luxury care home with 66 fully furnished ensuite rooms is just weeks away from opening in Heathcote.

After months of work at the Cox Gardens site, the state-of-the-art Oakley Grange Care Home is nearly ready to open.

Part of the exclusive Cinnamon Care Collection group, Oakley Grange promises to "redefine later-life living combining first-class care and assisted living with exquisite surroundings and superior onsite amenities".

Cinnamon has also announced a Founder Members' Offer, giving families and residents a fixed price for 20 months from the date of opening.

And as the finishing touches are completed at Oakley Grange, home admissions advisor Justine Ellory said the whole team is looking forward to welcoming its first guests.

"It is really exciting," she told Nub News.

"Every day over the past few weeks we have been getting a step closer, and it it great to see the building being finished around us.

"Oakley Grange is Cinnamon's 22nd care home, and with it being custom built, it is going to be a fantastic place for people to come and live.

"We are really excited to open."

In addition to the 66 fully furnished rooms, Oakley Grange also has five deluxe care suites, which each include an elegant living room and kitchenette - perfect for couples or those wishing to have greater independence.

As well as providing comfortable living for elderly residents, Oakley Grange will also offer a dedicated community for people with dementia.

And Cinnamon will also provide respite care - which could also serve as a taster for moving to Oakley Grange permanently.

"Respite is often around two to four weeks," Justine explained.

"The benefits are, if you have someone who is unsure about whether they want to move in, they can come a few times and it may ease them in about the idea of potentially coming full time.

"And of course you are then also giving well-earned respite to the carers, but they can still come in as and when they want to see their loved one."

Central to the Cinnamon offer is the activities provided to its residents, making the most of the state of the art facilities at Oakley Grange.

This as well as the company's award winning food, which will be served in the elegant in-house restaurant.

Justine explained: "Activities are a big part of life at Oakley Grange, and we have fantastic facilities on site including the cinema, spa, cafe bar and even a salon.

"But also, given where we are based, residents still have the freedom to get out and about and still feel connected to the local community.

"The food and the presentation is also key.

"There is a real focus on fresh produce, local ingredients and of course our food is award winning.

"Food is a massive focus and really enriches our residents' quality of life."
