Local schoolchildren choose names for floors at luxury new care home in Heathcote

Ahead of its opening next month, Oakley Grange, a luxury new care home in Warwick, held a competition for pupils at a nearby primary school to name the floors at the new care home.

With 66 fully-furnished ensuite rooms, Oakley Grange care home will offer first-class assisted living in "stylishly tranquil surroundings". 

The new care home, which will be the latest facility operated by Cinnamon Care Collection, will also include a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.  

Currently under construction, the Cox Gardens site will also offer five deluxe care suites.

And with just weeks to go until the official opening, children at Heathcote Primary School were able to choose the names for the floors.

The winning names were: 

  • Portobello Bridge
  • Heathcote
  • Jephson Gardens
  • Priors

Oakley Grange donated £250 vouchers to the school and additionally individual pupil winners each received a £20 book voucher. 

Rukmi Silva, general manager, Oakley Grange, said: "It was a pleasure to receive the competition entries from the local school children and we are delighted that the winning floor names link so perfectly to our location on the border of Royal Leamington Spa and the historic market town of Warwick.

"We look forward to welcoming out first residents next month."

Each care suite at Oakley Grange has a lounge and kitchenette, with premium fixtures throughout, perfect for couples or those seeking greater independence.
