1. Warwick Fabric Swap

The Warwick Fabric Swap takes place on 22 August 2026 at the Warwick Visitor Centre.

Sewists and crafters can exchange unused fabric to declutter their supplies.

Organisers shared: "Connect with other local sewists of all types - those of us who do sewing repairs for Warwick Repair Cafe are always keen to talk sewing with anyone we meet!"

2. Dragon Boat Racing

As part of the World Corporate Games, Warwick is set to host a Dragon Boat Racing event this weekend (22 August).

The event will take place at St Nicholas Park from 9.30am to 4pm and will see teams of participants competing in organised races.

Organisers shared: "The aim is to deliver a fun, inclusive and well-managed sporting activity that encourages teamwork, participation and engagement as part of the wider Games programme."

3. Warwickshire Pride

The Warwickshire Pride Festival is returning to Leamington Spa this weekend (22 August).

The event is set to be a colourful celebration of LGBTQ+ life and culture and aims to highlight the injustices faced by LGBTQ+ communities locally, nationally and around the world.

This year's festival will take place in Leamington Spa on Saturday, 22 August, with marchers assembling on Beauchamp Road for an 11am start.

The day will begin with a Pride march through the town, followed by the main celebration at the Pump Room Gardens, until 6pm.
