Residents will be able to find out more about future developments planned for the next ten to 15 years at Warwick Hospital during two events later this year.

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is inviting the public to hear about its long-term estates strategy which it says will "ensure the organisation's infrastructure is safe, sustainable, efficient, and fit for purpose".

The first stage of these plans aims to increase the number of surgical procedures SWFT can carry out and will help create "sustainable and accessible" services, that are "appropriately located to support clinical safety and operational efficiencies".

The trust says this will enable it to deliver the right services in the right place, at the right time.

Sophie Gilkes, chief strategy officer, and Mark Jones, associate director - strategic estates and capital planning, will speak at two events:

  • Monday 26 September, 5:30pm-6:15pm, Room 5 John Turner Centre (the main building in Car Park A, Warwick Hospital) – spaces for this event are limited. They will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so booking early is essential.
  • Tuesday 25 October, 5:30pm-6:15pm, Microsoft Teams

To attend either meeting email [email protected] to confirm your attendance.

If you are hoping to attend the face-to-face event and are driving please also include your car registration in this email.

The trust said the long-term estates strategy and development plans will be continually reviewed.
