A coffee chain has opened its latest branch in Heathcote this August.

Bewiched Coffee shop opened its 14th store at unit four at Lower Heathcote Square off Vickers Way, last weekend.

The company, which operates stores mainly in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire, was launched by Matt Fountain in 2010 in Wellingborough.

The company also runs a shop in the Clock Towers Shopping Centre in Rugby and has plans to open a store at the Co-op in Balsall Common.

The latter is part of a new partnership with the Heart of England Co-operative Society which will see the opening of 15 new coffee shops over the next five years.

Taking to social media the coffee chain announced the "exciting" news of the Heathcote store opening back in June.

"We believe this is an excellent location with an amazing community vibe which we can't wait to become a part of!

"Our purpose is to deliver amazing moments for our customers and our teams and we are on the look out now for an exceptional team to come on the journey with us!"

The chain also thanked its Rugby store for helping with training and getting the new venue off the ground.

The store followed the recent opening of high-end fish and chip shop and gelateria Harbury Catch at the end of July.

A statement on the Bewiched Coffee website says: "The systems and processes we have in place are world leading, in fact we are very confident they eclipse the multi-nationals.

"Our training, coaching & recognition is industry leading."

It added: "Our brand is synonymous with authentic values, put simply, we are here to provide better service, better coffee & better food, than the generic brands."
