New home proposed for Warwick garden
By James Smith 27th Jan 2026
A new home could be built in the garden of a Warwick home, if plans are approved by Warwick District Council.
H & M Construction has applied for planning permission for the three-bedroom home on Shelley Avenue.
If approved, the scheme would also see two more parking spaces built on site.
"The proposed development intends to maintain the surrounding characteristics of the area and will be designed as a carefully crafted traditional styled family home that is sympathetic to its surroundings," the application said.
"It will be built to include a ground and first floor with general cold storage loft contained within the roof space utilising the pitched roof.
"Space allows provision for space to be provided allowing the potential storage of bicycles for future occupants in an external space of the development.
"In addition, there's the inclusion of newly planted trees and shrubs to utilise the unused spaces of the current site, whilst maintaining all current greenery."
