Eight volunteers from a financial services firm based in Warwickshire, participated in a soup kitchen takeover last week (22 January), in support of a local charity.

Partnering with Leamington-based charity, Helping Hands, members of the Simpson Financial Services team dedicated their time to prepare and serve meals to around 40 individuals who are homeless or otherwise vulnerable in the area.

The meals consisted of spaghetti bolognese, veggie pasta bake, and cherry crumble with custard.

Paraplanner at the firm, Luke Viner, shared his thoughts on the experience: "I really enjoyed the experience of volunteering at the soup kitchen for Helping Hands, and I found it very rewarding to give back to my local community.

"Thank you to the Helping Hands team for everything they do day in, day out."
