The owner of chain Peach Pubs - which has a pub in Warwick - is to go into administration.

Revel Collective was put up for sale in October following a "continued period of external challenges".

The company - which also owns Revolucion de Cuba - says its discussions with a buyer are "well advanced" but it has filed to enter administration.

Peach Pubs operates The Rose & Crown in Warwick as well as The Almanack in Kenilworth and The Star and Garter in Leamington Spa.

The venues as well as the Revolution bar chain will remain open during the process.

The decision has been made "in order to preserve as much value as possible for all stakeholders as it advances a potential sale of all or parts of the business".

Peach Pubs was bought by the Revel Collective in 2022 for £16.5 million as has 22 pubs nationwide.
