Warwick's Mayor for 2025-26 has shared a heartfelt message, reflecting on her term as the town's mayor.

Cllr Jackie D'Arcy was confirmed Mayor of Warwick at Warwick Town Council's annual meeting on 22 May 2025.

Taking on the role for 2026-7, is Cllr Simon Pargeter. after a vote which took place on Thursday 26 March 2026.

Reflecting on her mayoral term, as it draws to a close, Cllr D'Arcy shared: "As my year as Mayor of Warwick draws to a close, I want to begin with something very simple, but very heartfelt: thank you.

"It has been an immense honour and privilege to serve this town as Mayor. Warwick is a place with a proud history, a strong sense of community, and people who care deeply about where they live and about one another. To represent you, both here at home and further afield, has been a responsibility I have carried with pride."

She went on to express gratitude for meeting "volunteers quietly giving their time, young people finding their voice, businesses investing in our future, and residents who never stop looking out for their neighbours."

Cllr D'Arcy continued: "These encounters have been the true highlight of my mayoralty. They have reminded me that civic life is not just about ceremonies or titles, but about connection, service, and shared purpose.

"No Mayor serves alone, and I have been continually inspired by the generosity of spirit shown by so many businesses, community groups, charities, schools, and faith organisations across the town. It has been a privilege to support and I hope, champion your work, and I know Warwick is stronger because of you.
