Major M40 delays after crash leaves engine oil on motorway

Motorists are being warned of major delays following a crash on the M40.
Two lanes have reopened on the northbound carriageway following the incident between junctions 11 (Banbury) and 12 (Gaydon).
The incident saw three vehicles collide, one of which overturned.
National Highways said the engine of one of the vehicles was left on the road, leaving engine oil all over the carriageway.
The other lane remains closed and there are hour-long delays and eight miles of queues in the area.
