A series of burglaries across Warwick last night (24 January) are being investigated by Police.

The crimes were reported to Police this morning (25 January) and an investigation has now begun.

The offences occurred in areas around the racecourse, Heathcote and Emscote Road in the town.

Detective Inspector Sarah Wolsey from Warwickshire Police said: "Early enquiries shows these offences occurred across the town throughout the night.

"I'd like to reassure local people that we have deployed significant resources to the area this morning to investigate the offences and deter further offending.

"We have several significant lines of enquiry we're following at the moment and we're urging anyone who has identified anything suspicious on door cam footage or saw anything suspicious to get in touch with us."

Anyone with information that could help police with their investigation can make contact by going to reporting it here or calling 101.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
