Locals have until the end of August to have their say on Warwickshire's political future.

Warwickshire County Council has launched an online survey for residents to share their views on local government reorganisation (LGR).

As the government plans to change the structures of councils across the county, this could see the six county, borough and district councils in Warwickshire merged or disbanded.

The county council is asking for feedback to help inform its final proposal which will be sent to the government by 28 November 2025.

Locals have until Monday 25 August to respond to the online survey.

The previous Conservative administration at the county council had shown its preference for a single, unitary council for the whole of Warwickshire.

Both Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon District Councils have since said Warwickshire should be split in two, with a council for the north and one for the south.
