The local community gathered in Warwick for this year's Remembrance Sunday parade and service which took place yesterday morning (9 November).

The service began at St Mary's Church, with councillors, local community groups, members of the army and cadetes attending.

Wreathes were then laid at the War Memorial on Church Street following the two-minutes silence.

Amongst those to lay wreaths were Mayor of Warwick, Cllr Jackie D'Arcy and Cllr Naveen Tangri, Chairman of Warwick District Council.

This was followed by the parade departing from Church Street and moving through the town centre, arriving back to St Mary's Church.

Taking part in the parade, were several local community groups including army members, local scouts and guides.
After the silence the parade, including the band, regiments and scouts and guides, led a procession around the town centre streets.
