A former Warwick restaurant is set to return to the town for one night only this August.

Pickled Crab - which was based on Smith Street until closing last year - is set to takeover at the Guy of Warwick on August 8 for a special "celebration" of British produce.

The former restaurant will also bring his popular food to Number 75 in Leamington Spa in September.

According to the website, the Pickled Crab Supper Club promises to be "a genuine celebration of the bountiful produce hailing from the British Isles".

"Our journey encompasses a profound and vibrant history, embracing the expertise of our valued Artisans—dedicated farmers, skillful foragers, and incredible day boat fishermen, in our Supper Club menu," the website added.

"Their passion and commitment inspire my culinary creations, setting the foundation for a unique dining experience.

The August menu includes Tandori Duck, cured salmon and chocolate namelaka.

The six courses are priced at £79 per person.

"Breaking the rules, The Pickled Crab Supper Club is all about celebrating the best of British produce," the website added.

"As of now, we don't offer vegan or vegetarian options, but we encourage you to explore some fantastic vegan restaurants locally.

"Our kitchen is focused on working with wild animals and super fresh day boat fish, we butcher and fillet them in our bijou kitchen, creating a unique culinary experience. Thank you for understanding our kitchen's limitations."

The Guy of Warwick Pub and Kitchen on Castle Street was launched in March, with The Gold Cup Inn and Jambavan Restaurant officially renamed.

The former home of Pickled Crab has become Fusion Clan.
