Aldi looking again to bring new store to Warwick
By James Smith 18th Aug 2026
Warwick has once again been included on a shortlist for potential new Aldi stores.
The major retailer has released its latest list of where it wants to open new stores across the UK.
The list of 124 locations includes a number of sites in the West Midlands and Warwickshire, including Kenilworth, Warwick and Coventry.
Jonathan Neale, managing director of national real estate at Aldi UK, said: "We know how important it is for people to have access to affordable, high-quality food close to where they live, which is why we're focused on identifying the communities that would benefit most from a new Aldi store.
"Opening new stores in these areas means we can bring great value to more customers, while also creating jobs and offering industry-leading pay."
The news comes as Aldi finally managed to secure planning permission for a new car park entrance for its supermarket at Leamington Shopping Park.
