A yellow weather warning has been issued for Warwick this Saturday (June 10) with meteorologists warning of heavy thunderstorms.

The Met Office has put the warning in place from 2pm until 9pm tomorrow, with disruption to travel predicted.

Meteorologists have also warned of "small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly".

Spray and sudden flooding could also lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.

The warning added: "There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be temporarily lost."

Much of the West Midlands, Warwickshire and the south of England are set to be affected.
