Witness appeal after man in 70s dies in Lapworth crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a crash in Lapworth.

Emergency services were called to the B4439 Old Warwick Road at 4.15pm last Monday (June 5) where the car had left the carriageway and collided with a sign.

A man in his 70s, the single occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage following the collision.

If anyone witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage, call 101 or report online quoting incident number 292 of 5 June 2023.
