1. Light Trail

The light trail has returned to Warwick Castle this Christmas, alongside the Ice Rink and the chance to meet Father Christmas.

"Our festive Light Trail returns to illuminate the castle and its grounds, bigger and better than ever before, with impressive new installations and thousands of shimmering lights spread across the iconic castle grounds," the castle said. 

"As dusk arrives, immerse yourself in breathtaking surroundings lit up with larger-than-life illuminations.

"Wander the beautiful gardens with twinkling trees and projections that light up the sky. Whatever your age, our castle Light Trail is sure to bring the real magic of Christmas to life."

2. Father Christmas

Santa and his Sleigh will be in Warwick's Market Square on Saturday (December 16) for the weekly market from 9am until 3pm.

Run in partnership with Warwick Town Council and CJ's Events Warwickshire in aid of Warwick's Christmas Lights and The Myton Hospices.

3. Leamington Christmas Market

And if you're busy on Saturday, why not head to Leamington Christmas Market on Sunday (December 17).

4. Carols at the Castle

The ever-popular Carols at the Castle charity event returns on Saturday (December 16).

The outdoor evening event will feature seasonal treats such as mulled wine and a variety of food and hot drinks, as well as a lively evening of carols.

The choirs of St Mary's will be leading the singing alongside musical support from the Leamington's Royal Spa Brass.

Gates will open at 6.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 for everyone over 12 and £5 for children under 12.
