Tickets have recently been released for the ever-popular Carols at the Castle charity event and are expected to sell out ahead of Saturday (December 16).

The outdoor evening event will feature seasonal treats such as mulled wine and a variety of food and hot drinks, as well as a lively evening of carols.

The choirs of St Mary's will be leading the singing alongside musical support from the Leamington's Royal Spa Brass.

Gates will open at 6.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 for everyone over 12 and £5 for children under 12.

The event this year takes place on Saturday 16 December and is the "perfect start to Christmas festivities".

The carols event raises a five-figure sum for local local good causes including Warwick Lions, Merlin's Magic Wand, Rotary Club of Warwick, Royal Spa Brass and The Friends of St Mary's Choir.

To help maximise the money for the charities, Warwick Castle provides the venue, facilities and support free of charge while sponsors also dig deep to contribute.
