Warwick's Saxon Mill pub has reopened today (December 19) after flooding on Thursday.

The ground floor of the Coventry Road inn was flooded yesterday as a water main burst on the busy route into town.

Severn Trent were on site throughout the day and Coventry Road was closed as engineers fixed the leak.

The Saxon Mill confirmed last night it would reopen.

"After the burst Severn Trent water pipe we will be open as usual tomorrow," the pub said in a post on social media.

"Thank you so much for all of your patience and understanding, we can't wait to welcome you all back."
