Coventry Road in Warwick remains closed following a burst water pipe this morning.

Severn Trent confirmed the issue outside the Saxon Mill this morning (December 18) and has been working on site to fix the issue.

The leak has now been sorted but the road remains closed.

A Severn Trent spokesperson said: "Our teams have now fixed the burst water pipe on Coventry Road and we're working hard to get everything put back to normal.

"The section of road by the Saxon Mill will remain closed this evening, and we apologise for the disruption this will cause.

"We would still encourage drivers to plan their journey in case of any delays, and we're working as quickly as possible to get the road fully back open again."
