A Warwick café has been given permission to keep its outside seating.

The Tuckery at Market Place has been allowed to keep up eight tables and 16 chairs, after a pavement licence was granted by Warwick District Council.

The permission will allow the town centre venue to use the seating from 8.30am to 5pm seven days per week, for the next 12 months.

New laws on pavement licences were brought into effect in the summer of 2020 to make it easier for businesses to apply for permission to put furniture outside during the pandemic.

Warwick café Pastelaria Portuguesa recently had its application for a pavement licence approved by the local authority, as did the Railway Inn.
