A Warwick hairdresser has closed its doors for the final time.

Nicola Smyth on Smith Street has shut up shop, bringing to an end 10 years of the business' salons across South Warwickshire.

Having also previously had premises in Kenilworth and Leamington Spa, the business announced at the end of February it would be closing.

"Thank you to all our loyal clients and our talents NS team for your support," a post on social media, announcing the news, said.

"We are forever grateful to everyone who been part of our incredible journey, including our chosen product partners Goldwell, Davines, Goldclass, and Shortcuts.

"Your support, partnerships, and friendships have been invaluable to us.

"From growing from one to a four-salon group with over 40 staff to establishing the NS Education Academy and winning multiple awards, including nationally and internationally recognized accolades such as Colour Salon of the Year and Midlands Hairdresser of the Year.!

The business also said it was "excited to announce" Nicola will still be looking after her clients locally - but did not specify where.

But the business has promised more to come in the future, saying it has been working on new projects with brands Davines and calligraphy cut.

Customers can stay up to date with further updates on the business on its website here.
