Warwick Rotary president Keith Talbot dropped into Warwick Myton Hospice this week with a cheque for £1,000 raised from the Christmas Lights of Love appeal.

The money was raised from donations for cards on the Christmas tree in Warwick's Market Square.

Mr Talbot presented the donation to community fundraiser Louise Carless.

The proceeds are shared across the Mayor's charities, which have also received £1,000 from the club.

The Myton Hospices is getting back to normal after a difficult year during the pandemic.

The charity need £9 million each year to support its in-patient service, provide help for out-patients on a day care basis, and in their own homes across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Upcoming fundraisers include the annual Cycle Challenge to Walk for Myton and the return of the charity shops.
