Newly-opened No.34 Garden and Grill will be closed today as its owner celebrate its fifth anniversary.

The Stratford Road restaurant was taken over by Midlands-based hospitality group Caviar & Chips in March 2022 as landlords Everards Brewery looked to put the venue back on its feet.

The multi-award winning business was established in March 2017 by co-founders Jonathan Carter-Morris and Marc Hornby as a bespoke caterers delivering unique wedding menus for their clients.

Alongside the Virgins and Castle the group also run No.34 Gardena & Grill in Warwick, an 18th century boutique wedding venue in Shropshire called Stockton House and recently launched a residency at Naunton Downs Estate in the Cotswolds.

All of these venues will close today (Thursday 24 March) so the business can celebrate reaching the milestone together as one big team.

Co-founder Marc said: "With hospitality being a seven-day a week business, it became a challenge for us all to celebrate together.

"So we just decided to close the doors for a day, so we can get every member of the team over to one of our venues and treat them to great food, drinks and live music.

"It's really important to Jonathan and I to say a huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in our journey as we certainly couldn't do it on our own. It's taken an incredible team of people to get us to our fifth birthday."

Caviar & Chips has won multiple awards over their last five years, including best wedding caterer in the West Midlands three years running.

This year it also won the best wedding caterer in the UK award.

It's also won awards for the work it does in the community with the Virgins and Castle and has recently been shortlisted for innovation in training awards and the work they do with team wellbeing.

"When we launched Caviar & Chips, we were ambitious and planned for quick growth," added Jonathan.

"But I still have to pinch myself when I see so many brilliant people have joined our teams.

"We're planning another recruitment drive in the coming weeks as we look to our next five years.

"We seem to have a great formula in our bespoke, client-led approach and our focus on creating unforgettable moments and memories for our guests."
