Warwick resident named in New Year's Honours list

The King's New Year's Honours list has been released.
The list recognises the achievements and service of extraordinary people across the UK.
One Warwick resident has been recognised in the list this New Year's.
Magistrate and Chair, Coventry and Warwickshire Bench, Clare Sawdon, has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire for "services to justice".
In nearby Kenilworth squash player Sarah-Jane Perry has been named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for her services to squash.
She is described in the list as a "grassroots champion and mentor".
Meanwhile Rebbeca Bollands has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
The headteacher at Earlson Primary School has been given the honour for her "services to cultural education in the West Midlands".
Louise Richards, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Motionhouse in Leamington Spa has been named a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to dance.
