A popular Warwick pub hosted a night of live music and entertainment on Friday (July 19) to celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The Mayor of Warwick Cllr Dave Skinner was on hand to mark the celebrations at the Old Post Office last week, as it reached the major milestone.
Commemorative t-shirts were also on offer at the West Street venue, which was taken over by husband and wife team Rachel Silverthorne and Tim Maccabee in April 2023.
The couple, who also own The Eagle, took over from Tom Douglas, pillar of the Warwick licensed trade and well-known character around town.
Over the anniversary weekend the Old Post Office was also treated to a visit from the town crier and even hosted the brass section before the Ministry of Sound classical concert at Warwick Castle.
Taking to social media the team said: "We've only been custodians of this lovely place since April 2023 but we've already made golden memories!"
And following his visit Cllr Skinner added: "We had two 10 year anniversaries in the town this week.
"The Old Post Office pub in West Street celebrated ten years of it's existence.
"The pub has quickly become a great place for residents and visitors alike with it's unique and friendly atmosphere.
"It continues to serve quality beer (as agreed by the Court Leet Ale Taster!) and entertainment which offers up another addition to the great Warwick vibe.
"Unlocking Warwick, a superb group of volunteers based at the Courthouse on Jury Street who have done incredible work in researching local history, putting on plays, showing people around and running events in the Courthouse.
"They continue to run events there and provide a good local 'What's on' list.
"Thank you to all those involved in both of these. Your work and efforts are valued considerably in the town, and I look forward to celebrating 20 year anniversary's with you!"
