Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Station Steps Forward
Works to install lifts at Warwick Station appear to be back on track after prior approval was given for new designs.
The 'Access for All' scheme all but came to a halt last year after the discovery of Victorian building remains where the new shafts were to be built.
Construction only resumed a matter of weeks ago and now prior approval has been given for the updated plans.
Housing Saga
Detailed plans for 70 new homes in Leek Wootton have been put forward to the district council by developer Cala Homes.
The latest chapter in the saga around Warwickshire Police's headquarters, the homes would be built around Woodcote Lane.
Cala was recently granted outline permission for the development, following a planning appeal.
Shop's Facelift
Plans to carry out "essential" works to a Warwick shopfront have been given the green light by Warwick District Council.
The British Heart Foundation has been given listed building consent for a series of works at its grade II listed store at Market Place.
The building, which dates back to the 19th century, is said to new an array of work on it, including repointing, brickwork repairs, chimney stack repairs and works around the windows and cills.
