Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.
Pret a Manger
Plans to open a new Pret a Manger store at Leamington Shopping Park have taken a step forward.
Warwick District Council (WDC) has approved planning permission for new signs at the currently vacant unit Fa at the Tachbrook Park Drive centre.
Plans show the signs would be illuminated.
The unit was actually created in 2018 when two other shops were divided, and sits in between Clarks and JD Sports.

Stoneleigh Scheme Stalls
Plans to build 2,500 houses in Stoneleigh looked to have stalled, over two years after planning permission was granted for the development.
The scheme for Kings Hill Lane was given outline permission in December 2021, despite objections from locals.
However, a so-called reserved matters application - which would consider the designs of the homes - is yet to come forward, meaning building work is still a long way away.

Punch Bowl Plans
Town councillors have added to objections to plans to turn a closed Warwick pub into a house.
More than 100 letters have been written against the redevelopment of the Punch Bowl after owner Secret Properties Ltd launched its latest attempt to repurpose the 18th century building.
Warwick Town Council has now submitted its own objection to the scheme, raising a number of concerns.
