UPDATE: Lanes reopen but major delays remain on M40 following serious collision

All three lanes have now reopened on the M40 southbound following a multi-vehicle collision.
National Highways said the crash happened on the southbound carriageway between junctions 12 (Gaydon) and 11 (Banbury) after 11am.
Traffic officers, fire and ambulance were all called to the scene.
National Highways is still warning of major delays as traffic starts to move again.
