Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.
Petrol Station Plans
Controversial plans to demolish and rebuild a petrol station in Warwick look set to be given the green light by councillors.
Euro Garage Group has applied for planning permission to flatten its Esso garage and car wash on Stratford Road to make way for a more modern filling station and shop.
The planning application submitted to Warwick District Council (WDC) shows the floor space of the new retail unit would be almost three times as big as the current offering.

Shop's Second Life
Plans to turn a "dilapidated" Warwick shop into a family home have been put forward to the district council.
If approved, the planning application would see the vacant shop on Smith Street turned back to residential use, to create a "family home".
The application submitted to Warwick District Council says the grade II listed unit has been empty since October 2022, with all the previous businesses proving unviable.

Country House Makeover
Plans to restore 19 bedrooms at a 100-year-old hotel have been put forward to the district council.
Mallory Court Hotel has applied for permission to give a makeover to many of the rooms at the grade II listed house, saying the works are needed to keep the business going.
Plans submitted to Warwick District Council show the scheme would see bathrooms in many of the rooms completely stripped and redesigned.
