Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Major Housing Plan
Plans for up to 160 new houses near Warwick and Leamington Spa have been met with multiple objections.
A planning application submitted for new homes, including 40 percent affordable housing in Bishop's Tachbrook, has received numerous objections from third parties.
The plans, submitted by Sharba Homes Ltd, revolve around new homes at Oakley Wood Road.
Local Plan Problems?
The leader of Warwick District Council has warned of "considerable challenges" in submitting the South Warwickshire Local Plan before government changes kick in.
Cllr Ian Davison cited a scramble between councils for the services of external experts and similar pressures within Warwickshire County Council's highways department as potential barriers to getting the submission in on time.
The new plan is being put together by Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon district councils to lay out where new housing and employment land should go right through to 2050.
New Junction
Plans to create a new junction for a neighbourhood centre south of Warwick and Leamington Spa have been approved.
The centre will eventually be built as part of the major housing development around Fusiliers Way.
The land is currently being used as a storage yard by developer Redrow as it continues to build in the area.
