Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.
New HMO Planned
A small house in multiple occupation (HMO) could be created above a Warwick shop, if plans are signed off by the district council.
Wen Brothers Property Investments Limited has applied for planning permission for a small extension into the loft at 6 Smith Street, to help turn a two-bed flat into a three-bed shared accommodation.
If plans are approved, the shop below - which is currently vacant - will remain available for retail use.

Windows in the Spotlight
Council planners have said an application to replace a series of windows at a local block of flats should be refused, as the new designs are not in keeping with the local conservation area.
Martinique Square (Warwick) Ltd has submitted a second application to upgrade the windows at the Bowling Green Street premises, wanting to replace the existing wooden frames and balcony doors with uPVC.
The application says the new designs for Martinique Square would be more energy efficient and would not spoil the look of the building.

Local Housing Plan
Locals have been given a chance to feed back on two sets of plans to build new homes in Wootton Wawen.
A consultation on two 29-house estates concluded last week, with both schemes expected to go to planning this summer.
The plans come as part of a scheme to build first homes for young families with connections to the village.
