Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.
Hotel's Panels Hindered
Prior approval to install a series of solar panels at The Warwickshire Golf And Country Club has been refused by Warwick District Council (WDC).
The local authority said the applicant - The Club Company - had provided "insufficient information" to allow planners to make a full decision.
Prior approval applications are made to streamline the process of asking for permission for certain types of development, without the need to ask for full planning permission.
However, the Leek Wootton club may now have to go down the latter route after its 150kWp set up was refused.

Demolition Underway
Demolition works have begun at Warwick Hospital as work to create a brand new entrance and elective hub continue.
South Warwickshire University NHS Trust (SWFT) announced this week the first of the buildings have started to be knocked down to make way for the major new development.
Demolition work started on March 18, with photographs taken over the past few days showing the fast progress to date.

Stadium Plans
The leader of Warwick District Council is "keen" to deliver a new stadium for Leamington Football Club but insists it is far from a done deal.
Fans of the Brakes, who are challenging for promotion from English football's seventh tier, were presented with proposals for a council-owned facility last week.
It is proposed that a 4,000-capacity ground, including a three-storey building that houses the main stand, will be run autonomously by the club through a 150-year lease at a peppercorn rent.
