Warwick planning roundup: 69 homes, industrial site and sports pavilion
Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.
Developer Doubles Down
Fresh plans to build 69 homes off Goggbridge Lane have been put forward by a housing developer just months after a previous scheme was thrown out by councillors.
In March Warwick District Council's (WDC) planning committee refused planning permission for the development, saying the occupiers would have to keep windows closed to shut out unacceptable levels of noise.
Planning officers had recommended Taylor Wimpey be given permission to build a mix of market and affordable homes on the small parcel of land between Goggbridge Lane and the A46.

Gaydon Development
An environmental impact assessment (EIA) must be completed before plans for a major new industrial site near Jaguar Land Rover's Gaydon base can progress.
Construction firm Deeley Group revealed the scheme to turn 11 hectares of farmland into a distribution centre earlier this year.
Having reviewed the outline for the development, Stratford-on-Avon District Council has now decided an EIA must be conducted before a detailed proposal is put forward.

Sports Pavilion
A new "purpose built sports pavilion" could be built at a Warwick football club if plans are signed off by the district council.
Racing Club Warwick FC has applied for planning permission to demolish the portacabin changing rooms at its Townsend Meadow ground, to make space for the new facility.
An application submitted to Warwick District Council (WDC) says the new building would provide step free access and be fully accessible for disabled users.
