Discover a Summer of History, Imagination & Adventure

Looking for a family day out with a difference this summer?

Step into the beautiful gardens and historic buildings of The Lord Leycester and discover Fairies in the Garden, a magical family experience inspired by folklore, Shakespeare and the famous Cottingley Fairies.

Explore our enchanting fairy trail, meet magical characters, get creative at the Fairy Art Cart, dress up and enjoy a relaxed day out in one of Warwick's most beautiful hidden gardens.

Kids Go Free

Children under 12 enjoy free admission with a paying adult, making The Lord Leycester an affordable and memorable day out for the whole family.

Fairies in the Garden

Can you find all ten fairies hidden throughout the Master's Garden?

Follow our magical trail and meet Titania, Puck, Rosemary, Robbie Basil, Lilly Liz, Hawthorn, Pansy, William, Daisy and Tweed as you explore the gardens.

Along the way, discover fascinating stories about fairy folklore, Shakespeare and the inspiration behind each fairy through a series of beautifully illustrated interpretation boards.

Don't forget to stop by our dress-up area, where children can transform into fairies, knights and Tudor characters before setting off on their adventure.

Fairy Art Cart

Join us every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays for our Fairy Art Cart.

Led by a member of The Lord Leycester team, each week features a different fairy-inspired craft activity, including magical wands, fairy peg dolls, crowns, amulets, bugs, butterflies and more.

Every Tuesday | 10.30am – 3.00pm

Drop in any time – no need to pre-book.

Suitable for children of all ages.

A small charge applies to craft activities.

Explore The Lord Leycester

There's even more to discover beyond the fairy trail.

Explore over 900 years of history as you wander through our medieval buildings, chapel, gardens and historic spaces, uncovering the remarkable stories of The Lord Leycester and the people who have called it home.

With peaceful gardens, fascinating heritage and plenty of space to explore, it's the perfect summer day out for families of all ages.
