A Warwick Football Club, has been the victim of another break-in attempt, leaving the club feeling "very disappointed."
The break-in took place on 2 May at Racing Club Warwick Football Club, shortly after the team's Playoff Final win in Belper, that same night.
Vice Chairman at the club, Ryan Goode told Nub News, the team received a notification that the perimeter alarm had been tampered with.
"Given it was still quite early, around 10.16pm, it seemed unusual for a break-in, but we went down to the club to investigate" shared Goode.
Upon arrival at the club, the team found that the perimeter alarm had been smashed off the wall and the intruders had attempted to force entry through the door but were unsuccessful in gaining access.
Goode noted this was the fifth or sixth attempted burglary/break-in the club has experienced over the past year.
Although the club doesn't keep cash or valuables on site, Goode highlighted 'the cost of the damage caused, along with the stress placed on volunteers' has been very 'disappointing' to see.
The club has asked anyone who recognises the individual involved or has any information that could help, to get in touch.
