Warwick Town Council

Over 20,000 people have watched a new video which gives 22 reasons to visit Warwick.

Thanks to the support of the Trustees of Henry VIII Endowed Trust the Mayor of Warwick, Councillor Dave Skinner is once again able to issue Christmas Vouchers to the over 70 year old residents of Warwick (CV34 postcodes).

Warwick District Council

Warwick District Council is to fund two new Citizens Advice staff in a bid to help people with cost-of-living pressures.

Residents will next year be given their say on plans for new housing sites around Warwick.

Green councillors were unsuccessful in their bid to shorten the length of the new South Warwickshire Local Plan.

A "significant step" in the creation of the district’s new country park has been made as the council announces a new designer and planning consultant for the project.

Warwickshire County Council

The major infrastructure project at the A46 Stoneleigh Junction has been "re-designed" as the council and its contractors continue to struggle to find the necessary materials.

Fears that Warwickshire County Council could face an "unlimited" bill to finally connect the bridge linger following a meeting for all councillors this month.

Warwickshire County Council will write to the government asking for family farms to be exempt from new inheritance tax rules following an emotionally-charged debate this week.

Children's centres and mental health and domestic abuse support are among areas where cuts are "likely to be needed" for Warwickshire County Council to balance its books.

Warwickshire County Council's finance experts are recommending five years of maximum council tax hikes with the politician in charge warning "there is not a lot of room to move".

Traffic restrictions will be removed along Hatton's Birmingham Road over Christmas, Warwickshire County Council has announced.

£3.7 million has been ring-fenced to help fund the major works on the roundabout of the Europa Way, Gallows Hill, Harbury Lane and Heathcote Lane. 

Leader Cllr Izzi Seccombe has confirmed Warwickshire County Council will apply to delay May's elections in order to form a new single authority in 2027.
